Tulip has objected to my earlier description of a typical Norwegian forest cat’s “pear-shaped body.” That, as every Viking princess knows, is blatant body shaming, which was fine when Thor ruled Earth, but has no place in today’s society. Tulip points out we all have different shapes, many comparable to fruits and vegetables, such as melons, celery, potatoes, tomatoes, bananas, rutabagas, plums, yams and eggplant. Look in a mirror, our Viking cat suggests. What fresh produce section item do you see?
Exactly, she says.
So there.
