Local wild turkeys Thelma and Louise have been getting in Tulip’s face lately. They’ve even taken to roosting on our railing, like feathered ringwraiths of Mordor, and dissing her through our door window. They don’t realize Norwegian forest cats possess Viking cunning as well as Viking courage. Tulip’s motto: The most powerful warrior is patience. Besides, sooner or later, the chickens will come home to roost for those turkeys.
