Our forest is on edge because for several days there’s been no trace of wild turkeys Thelma and Louise. Did they hop in a convertible and drive off a cliff? Were they prey for some myopic deer hunter? Or are they simply on a shopping trip to Buffalo now that the border has opened up?
Whatever, Tulip the Norwegian forest cat/detective is on the case. Like all Vikings, she is keen of eye and nose, and quickly zeroed in on this feather clue. But what does it mean? We wouldn’t put it past Thelma and Louise to leave it as a red herring, so to speak, to throw us off the trail. Stay tuned.
